Concrete Block, or Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) as they are known in the masonry industry, or cinder block as they are sometimes called, is the standard building material of masonry structures. Manufactured concrete block products are available in a variety of shapes, styles, and colors. Made from a mixture of cement, sands and aggregates, these concrete blocks are cast in molds and split, ground or fluted for a finish.
